Step 7: Get a TFN & Apply for Tax Concessions
Why You Need a TFN and Tax Concessions
Even though charities donβt usually pay tax, you need a TFN (Tax File Number) to interact with the ATO.
You can also apply for tax concessions like:

How to Apply
You can apply for your TFN and tax concessions at the same time as your ACNC registration. The ACNC will pass your details to the ATO.
